I've been listening live to Barack Obama's speech in Germany, and I just wanted to share a few things that came to mind while I listened:
- The amount of international goodwill Obama already has can only help our foreign policy.
- It's fantastic that the concept of "global citizenship" is catching on, and I hope it continues to grow.
- It is horrific that Obama should even need to say that we should reject torture.
- Obama celebrates our history of acceptance and tolerance and the number of languages spoken in our country, while those on the right are actively trying to rid us of Hispanic immigrants.
